Broad Aims of This Course

This course is especially designed for participants who are planning to take the IELTS exam. It prepares them for the exam by explaining all the needed strategies in speaking, writing, reading, and listening. Moreover, it supports the explanation with a variety of practice tests and exercises that replicate the actual IELTS tests.

WRITING
  • Learn and practice the two tasks of IELTS writing assessment.
  • Task 1 is about data analysis. Students will practice a variety of diagrams (bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts, tables) and learn to write 150 words analysing those diagrams.
  • Task 2 is about a persuasive/argumentative essay. Students will learn how to write a 250 word essay arguing about a topic and supporting their opinion with evidence.
READING AND LISTENING
  • Learners will practice a variety of exercises that cover all the the different samples of IELTS. They will listen and read different texts.

  • Final assessment will be in the last session of the course.
  • ‘Course Completion Certificate’ will be sent to students within 2 weeks of successful completion of the course.
