The EASA Part-147 Approved Training Program covers 2 sub-categories of the EASA Part-66 licence system that covers the most basic knowledge and practical modules required for the application and acquisition of the Part-66 Licence: 

  • Sub-Category B1.1: Aeroplane Turbine

  • Subcategory B2: Avionics

Minimum Program Entry Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Attain at least grades B+ in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in O-levels, IGCSE, SPM,or any equivulent High-school certification

  • Have an IELTS score of 5.0 or above, or certification from an approved English pathway program

  • Student must be in possession of a valid International Passport

  • Successfully completed and passed Pre-Entry Assessment and Physical Check-up

Training Requirements To Apply For Basic Licence

Below is a diagram mapping out the steps to follow in order to apply for the EASA Part-66 basic licence required of all Aircraft Engineers/ Aircraft Technicians. This is accomplished by successfully completing the EASA Part-147 Approved Basic Training Program and a 2-year On Job Training (OJT) Program.
